About the client: AMADA India, a subsidiary of AMADA Japan is involved in the metal working machinery, importing and trading of industrial machinery and spares form Japan and USA.
AMADA has established Amada (India) Pvt. Ltd. in April 2000, with its office in Mumbai and this is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amada Co. Ltd., Japan. Further to provide prompt sales and after sales services to our customers, apart from Mumbai, their sales and service engineers are also stationed in Delhi, Bangalore Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Pune and Vadodara.
The Challenge: The client is using a local accounting package which is very outdated, comes with lot of limitations, security issues, lacking advanced reporting and collaboration features, standalone in the nature. Customer finance and other users used to prepare various financial, stock valuation, reconciliation and other MIS reports manually as per the principal company format. As this lacks integration capabilities, there used to be a lot of redundant activities carried in a very primitive and manual manner affecting the overall efficiency of the teams.
