Position Overview
Web Synergies is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in industries such as mining, resources, banking, or telecommunications, with expertise in Secure-by-Design application development, DevSecOps, and cloud security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cloud cybersecurity expertise in M365, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Configure and utilize protection components (firewalls, servers, routers) to secure applications, M365, and cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulatory standards such as ISM, NIST, and ISO27001.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in cybersecurity for cloud solutions.
- Prior experience as a cloud engineer or architect will be beneficial.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, preferably in mining, resources, banking, or telecommunications.
- Certified as a Cyber Security Professional (CISSP, CISM preferred, or equivalent).
- Cloud cybersecurity certifications such as Azure or AWS equivalent.
- Expertise in cloud security and large-scale cloud technology environments.
