Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Director to develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for new business expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a robust sales pipeline—from prospecting, pre-qualifying leads, setting discovery meetings, following up, to preparing commercial proposals and achieving order closure. The successful candidate must have a strong network of decision makers and business partners, with particular emphasis on the SEA region (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore).

  • Manufacturing: Smart Manufacturing

  • Data Centre
  • IIoT and Analytics

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

  • Order Intake (Top Line)
  • Customer Satisfaction

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and organise customer visits/meetings to secure new sales and achieve targets.
  • Develop and grow strategic accounts to foster recurring business and drive year-on-year growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Devise sales and marketing strategies with actionable plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Source and develop new customer accounts to expand business opportunities.
  • Analyse decision makers, winning prices, and competition to position services effectively.
  • Develop a business partner network within key vertical focus areas to accelerate new account acquisition.
  • Participate in commercial proposal reviews to ensure targets are met and budgets respected.

Essential Skills:

  • A robust customer network with access to C-level decision makers in key focus areas.
  • A strong business partner network to introduce new customers, including C-suite contacts.
  • Proven sales experience with the ability to drive meetings and clearly showcase solution value.
  • A consultative approach to identifying customer challenges and proposing effective solutions.
  • Excellent skills in solution demonstration and sales presentation.
  • Ability to strategise account development and manage recurring business (e.g., SaaS).
  • Highly multi-tasking with quick adaptation and strong learning agility.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and a customer-centric approach.
